{"id":3308,"date":"2020-09-01T08:00:08","date_gmt":"2020-09-01T12:00:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/creativethirst.com\/blog\/?p=3308"},"modified":"2024-02-12T12:02:17","modified_gmt":"2024-02-12T16:02:17","slug":"funnel-templates-for-online-health-supplement-businesses","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/creativethirst.com\/blog\/funnel-templates-for-online-health-supplement-businesses\/","title":{"rendered":"The Best Frontend Funnels For Any Online Health Supplement Business"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When building a sales funnel many marketers find it helpful to start with a template rather than starting from scratch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However most people think of a template in terms of page layout. <br \/><br \/>Like content boxes and images. <br \/><br \/>Sadly though the layout won\u2019t get you any sales. <br \/><br \/>What\u2019s more important is the copy (the words) that go on the page. <br \/><br \/>Layout and design can and should support the copy. <br \/><br \/>Design can make a difference. <br \/><br \/>But first start with good copywriting, not the layout itself.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So when I say template in this article, I mean the sales page structure (or outline) and copy as well as the strategy behind the structure and copy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Starting with the right strategy that supports your goals first, is the path to success. Rather than simply using an existing template designed for your industry. Or copying another health supplement sales page design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At Creative Thirst, my <a href=\"http:\/\/creativethirst.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"direct response optimization agency (opens in a new tab)\">direct response optimization agency<\/a>, our focus is on the dietary supplement industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And in this article I\u2019ll expose a bit more about two health supplement funnel templates that we covered in depth in previous articles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first is the\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Quiz Funnel Template<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s true quiz funnels do take a bit more work to create because you have multiple segment types.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And they take a bit more to optimize and dial in to get working if you don\u2019t have your hook or handoff section right. (The section between the lead and the body, and the handoff to the offer.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But quiz funnels are in my opinion a great funnel for almost any business, particularly a health supplement business, because\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You get the best of both worlds, buyers and leads.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As long as you\u2019re doing a half way decent job of converting the leads immediately after they take the quiz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And you can also taking advantage of the leads the quiz is collecting by remarking to them with a dedicated ad campaign.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Plus you should be reaching out to leads with their quiz results in an email follow up sequence to capture an abandoned sales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Okay\u2026 okay, there are a lot of other pieces involved in maximizing the impact of a quiz funnel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But, with all of this in place, a quiz funnel can be a core customer acquisition funnel for any dietary supplement business.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And you don\u2019t need all the pieces in place before you launch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can simply just launch the quiz front end and see if it gets traction for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But to do that you\u2019ll need to decide what type of quiz will work best for you.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is part of the strategy, for those who have been paying attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are 4 different types of quiz funnels that work best for health supplements:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What\u2019s Your Type Quiz<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What\u2019s Your Score Quiz<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Custom Plan Quiz&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Product Selector Quiz<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To learn more about the different quiz types you can read the article: <a href=\"https:\/\/creativethirst.com\/blog\/quiz-funnel\/\">4 Different Types of Health Supplement Quizzes<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In another article we also looked at a <a href=\"https:\/\/creativethirst.com\/blog\/quiz-funnel-2\/\">quiz funnel template structure<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Which included the Quiz Presell Page &gt; The Quiz Questions &gt; and the Results \/ Sales Page<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In that article each of those parts are broken down and expanded upon in more depth.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/creativethirst.com\/blog\/quiz-funnel-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Click here (opens in a new tab)\">Click here<\/a> to read that article and learn more about quiz funnels for health supplements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The second supplement funnel template we covered in a previous article is the\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Free Plus Shipping Funnel Template<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We looked at the free plus shipping funnel before in several articles.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But this is the first time I broke down the template of such a funnel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A free plus shipping funnel sells a physical product for just the price of shipping.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This funnel works mostly because of the strength of the offer. The appeal of getting something for free is hard to beat, even if you do pay shipping. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here\u2019s the structure for a free plus shipping funnel sales page: Headline &gt; Lead &gt; Body &gt; State The Offer &gt; 1st Call to action &gt; Restate the offer&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A free plus shipping funnel is a great way to bring in new customers and leads into your business as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And in the article: <a href=\"https:\/\/creativethirst.com\/blog\/sales-funnel-template-free-plus-shipping-funnel\/\">Free plus shipping funnel template<\/a> I unpack each step of the sales page and how to write the copy that goes into each section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But be careful, if you don\u2019t have the <a href=\"https:\/\/creativethirst.com\/blog\/funnel-economics\/\">funnel economics<\/a> right, it may not work for your level of risk and cash flow.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One potential downside is bringing in too many low value buyers who just want something for free.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The lowest end of these buyers, won\u2019t buy any of your up-sells but they may buy something from your backend email follow sequence. So don\u2019t write them off completely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, you\u2019ll want to segment different buyers, ideally based on RFM, Recency, Frequency and Monetization, to truly scale your business with a free plus shipping offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another way to capitalize on a free plus shipping funnel for a dietary supplement company is with selling a physical book on the front end as the free offer with supplements as the up-sells. class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Many direct to consumer health supplement funnels have been built on the backs of these two types of funnels.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because they are both designed to bring in not only leads but also buyers.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A constant stream of leads and buyers are the life blood of a business.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Without both you really don\u2019t have a business that can grow and scale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you\u2019re not
